Posted by Heather Edwards on

Kids love toys, big, small, young, old, are you a big kid at heart then you probably love toys as well.

Toys are for comfort, friendship, playing, displaying, and having fun with. Giving a toy might just change someone's day, it may turn a frown to a smile. Plush toys are ideal for cuddling and go beautifully in children's bedrooms, spare bedrooms and can be used as a thank you or a reward for good behaviour.

We have a range of dogs no need to have the work of owning a dog or the expense, a toy can sometimes be a wonderful substitute, how many of us have had a favourite toy since childhood. My toy dog from my childhood has a special place in a glass cabinet and reminds me of cuddling up to him at night.

Do you love a particular breed of dog? Are you a working dog type? Blue Heelers, Kelpies, Collies, and the like. Or perhaps you are more of a soft big dog fiend, you love Golden Retrievers, Labradors, or German shepherds. Then there are the little dog lovers Chihuahua’s, Schnauzers and Poodles. Irrespective there are dogs to love for most children and adults.

Some kids just love cats, so we have long haired ones, short haired, black, white, multi-coloured. Cat lovers who are allergic to cats can have one of these. There will be no cat dander! Our cats too make wonderful snuggle toys and are low maintenance.

We have Piebald, Chantilly-Tiffany, Persian, Calico cats why not collect them all? No cat enclosures required.

Children love to learn about native animals, we have quolls, squirrel gliders, Tasmanian devils, kookaburras, bilbies, and kangaroos. Our native animal toys are also ideal gifts for friends and relatives overseas. Someone just might want a souvenir of a trip or a trip they cannot make.

Either way you look at it, our soft toys are easy care, they can have a regular brush to freshen them up. Wash them on a gentle cycle in the washing machine using a non-detergent cleaner. Leave them out in the sun to dry and bring in before nightfall.

Marks can be removed by wiping them down with a laundry soap (not too much); or use a paste made of bicarb soda on a toothbrush. Make sure you take out in the sun to dry and bring them in once dry.
